At the parents' request, they arrange to meet the families, either to discuss educational matters or acceptance of their child's condition or to give general advice or conduct regular family therapy sessions. Finally, our psychologists intervene whenever it is time for the children to go to school. Together with the parents and therapists, they decide what type of schooling will be appropriate for each child (normal regional school with or without special teaching aids, specialist institute, etc.). They help with initial contacts between parents and the specialised services or establishments that will take over from the 'Service de Rééducation Précoce'.
